Food safety
Temperature logs that flag problems while there's time to act.
Walk through every cooler, freezer, and hot-holding unit in one round, see anything out of range right away, and keep a history that's ready when someone asks for it.
Try it — nothing saves, refresh to reset
What you get
Temperature rounds with safe ranges, required notes on out-of-range readings, and history.
Every unit, with its own safe range
Set up each piece of equipment with its area, Celsius or Fahrenheit, and the safe minimum and maximum it should hold.
A round anyone can finish
Today's round lists every unit and tracks progress as readings come in. A unit that's out for repair can be marked not applicable with a note.
Out-of-range readings need an explanation
A reading outside the safe range is saved and flagged, and the person recording it has to add a comment saying what happened.
History you can filter
Review past readings by date, equipment, employee, or status to find warnings and checks that were never done.
Common questions
Good to know.
Can Barley replace our paper temperature log?
For many restaurants, yes: every reading is recorded with who took it and when, and the history can be filtered by date. Check your local health authority's rules for how records must be kept.
Does it work with wireless temperature sensors?
No. Your team enters readings during the round, from a phone or tablet.
What if a unit is broken or empty?
Mark it not applicable for that round and add a note, such as "removed for repair". Archived equipment stops appearing in new rounds but keeps its history.
